Envirospec, Inc. is a qualified firm of environmental professionals offering consulting in the administration and management of environmental compliance. Envirospec specializes in the assessment and remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with petroleum products, solvents, pesticides, metals and other hazardous materials. Our mission is simple: provide outstanding customer service and a quality work product at a fair price. Envirospec, Inc. is a minority small business owned and operated by licensed professionals. The staff of Envirospec offers practical experience in the fields of chemistry, geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science and hazardous materials management. ASSESSMENTS AND REMEDIAL ACTION When contamination has resulted from accidental or intentional discharge(s), Envirospec, Inc. excels at the planning, implementation and execution of project activities geared towards the determination or assessment of the impact to air, soil, surface water and groundwater from the discharged contaminant(s). In circumstances where remedial action is required, Envirospec will review all aspects of the project to assist in negotiations with regulatory agencies over citations and response requirements. At Envirospec the main goal and objective of any remediation effort is cost effective compliance with regulatory requirements. ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENTS Envirospec, Inc. offers Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I and II) and Facility Audits that focus on the specific needs for transactions or land utilization. Adhering to ASTM Standard E-1527, unless otherwise specified by the client, all assessments and Audits will typically include:

Historical review of property usage, development and improvements;
à
Review applicable building, zoning, environmental or other department's
records for information relative to the subject site and/or neighboring sites;
à
Review of the records and files of State, regional, and local Boards or
Agencies (Health, Solid Waste, Water Quality, Air Quality, etc.) whose actions
may affect the subject property and neighboring properties;
à
Investigation of the subject property and neighboring properties
relative to the Environmental Protection Agency's National Priority List (NPL),
Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Information
System (CERCLIS) list and associated federal environmental database lists. State environmental regulatory database lists
are also accessed for records pertaining to the subject site or neighboring
sites;
à
Visual site inspection noting all improvements with particular
attention to the use of hazardous materials within structures or operating
equipment;
à
Review of historical aerial photographs to determine the property's
use, mis-use, development and/or condition over the
available years;
à
Interviews with available neighbors to determine prior uses of the
subject property (if appropriate and only if deemed acceptable by the parties
involved in the transaction). Client's
confidentiality always recognized;
à
Determination of past ownership of the subject property via
Chain-of-Title.
à
Additional services include: non qualifying visual inspection of the
building(s) to determine the potential for asbestos-containing materials (ACM)
and/or lead containing paint; non qualifying inspection of property for
wetlands; and sample acquisition for lead in paint and drinking water, radon,
ACM. RIGHT TO KNOW TRAINING Envirospec, Inc. offers Right To Know training to ensure compliance with both State and Federal Hazard Communication regulations and which address both the legal and technical aspects of the regulations in a format which is easy to read and understand. Envirospec provides customized training manuals which detail the specific chemicals found in the workplace and their associated hazards. Assigning project management and execution exclusively to staff professionals permits Envirospec to internally monitor the quality of services rendered to each client. Thereby, adherence to QA requirements never varies and the reliability of services rendered, data generated and the ultimate results of the project will withstand even the most intensive scrutiny.
Assurance of appropriate insurance for professional environmental services is a must have that not all competitor companies can provide to potential clientele. Envirospec, Inc. retains insurance policies that cover all of our environmental services. Our insurance coverage includes: Professional and Pollution Liability; Comprehensive Liability; and Auto Liability policies to $1,000,000.00 per occurrence that meet all typical client requirements for the provision of environmental consulting and hazardous/non-hazardous materials management services.
